Why Start Puppy Training Early?
Starting early gives your puppy the chance to learn basic obedience commands, develop a reliable attention span, and master walking on leash.
Early training also prevents unwanted behaviors and builds confidence. With consistent training sessions and the right balance of patience, praise, and food rewards, your puppy will grow into a well-mannered companion.
Why Puppy Socialization Classes Are Beneficial
Our puppy classes give your dog safe exposure to new people, dogs, sounds, and environments.
These early experiences are about more than playtime — they teach your pup how to feel calm and curious when faced with something new.
Starting with puppy classes helps prevent fear or reactivity later on, laying the groundwork for a confident, well-mannered adult dog who’s comfortable at the vet, on busy sidewalks, and around other dogs in the city.
Private training can be done in-home, virtually, or at an agreed upon offsite location. Our sessions last one hour. Packages include an email follow up with notes, handouts, and videos along with email support between sessions.
While raising a puppy takes time and effort, we make the process simple and enjoyable for both of you.

FAQs
-
For Puppy 1, puppies must have at least their first round of core vaccines. For Puppy 2, dogs must be up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations.
-
Our group puppy training classes are great for most puppies!
They combine learning manners and obedience with safe socialization.
If your puppy needs more one-on-one support, we also offer private training so you can get the best fit for your dog’s needs.
-
Expect lots of learning (for both you and your pup!) in a supportive environment. With that said, bring lots of high-value treats! “High value” means treats your dog doesn’t get in every day life. Think: hot dogs, string cheese, smelly new treats they only get in class. This helps them stay motivated.
We’ll provide water, snuffle mats and encourage potty breaks.
Each class has 6 pups total. This allows plenty of space for each pup and their human.
During our classes, you’ll practice handling common puppy challenges, plus start building focus and obedience skills.
Every class is structured to be fun and positive!
-
Please bring a standard 6-foot leash (no retractables), a well-fitted harness or collar, and a pouch full of high-value, pea-sized treats!

Puppy manners cover everyday skills like polite greetings, house manners, and leash walking.
Puppy obedience builds on that foundation with more structure — teaching your dog to reliably respond to cues like sit, stay, and come in distracting environments.
