Puppy 1

Rolling Admissions

4 SESSIONS / $180

This 4-week puppy training class in Chicago helps your young dog build essential skills and confidence through positive reinforcement and guided socialization.

Puppy

Congratulations on your new puppy!! We are here to help with everything you need to survive (and thrive) throughout puppy-hood and into adult.

🗓️ Saturdays, rolling admissions

4-week puppy training and socialization class focused on obedience, confidence building, and life skills for city dogs.

Puppy 1

  • This rolling-admission, 4-week puppy training class in Chicago helps your young dog build essential skills and confidence through positive reinforcement and guided socialization.

    Your puppy will learn:

    • Engagement and attention-building

    • Leash walking and recall

    • Sit, down, leave it, and polite greetings

    • Trading items to prevent resource guarding

    • Comfort with handling, vet visits, and new environments

  • Best for puppies under 5 months old who are ready to start training and socializing in a group setting.

  • At least 2 or 3 rounds of bordetella, distemper, and parvo vaccines

🗓️ Begins Tue, June 17 @ 6pm (no class July 6)

This 4-week course is meant as a bridge for pups between 5-12 months who have taken Puppy 1 & aren't quite ready for an intermediate class.

Puppy 2

  • We'll work on strengthening behaviors like…

    • Leash walking

    • Stays

    • Leave it

    • Pattern games for engagement

    • Plus, tips about how to tackle life with an adolescent pup!

  • Puppies between 5-12 months of age

  • Taken Puppy 1 class

Trainer supervised playgroup where we will also work on some basic training skills, handling, and other confidence building exercises.

Puppy Playgroup

  • Designed to help puppies during their critical socialization period learn to interact with other puppies, people, objects, and new experiences.

  • Puppies under 5 months.

  • At least one round of vaccinations one week prior to play.

Take your dog from beginner basics to advanced obedience with our obedience classes, designed to improve leash skills, focus, impulse control, and real-world behavior.

Obedience

This class is all about building a solid foundation for you and your pup! Our goal is to help you start off on the right foot with foundational skills.

Adult Dog 1

  • Foundational skills such as

    • Sit, down, stay

    • Leave it

    • Recall

    • Touch

    • Leash walking

    • Find it

    • Eye contact/engagement

    • Release cue

  • Best for dogs who are new to training, easily distracted, or need help focusing in busy environments. Great for high-energy dogs or recent rescues starting fresh.

  • Build on skills learned in Adult Dog 1, plus

  • Best for dogs who know the basics but struggle with consistency, impulse control, or working around distractions like other dogs or people.

  • Vaccinated adult dogs who have taken Adult Dog 1.

This advanced level group class will work on proofing skills to and learning complicated sequences of behaviors.

Adult Dog 3

  • Build on skills learned in adult 1 and 2, plus

    • Combining behaviors

    • Long distance sit and down

  • Best for dogs ready to level up their obedience with advanced skills, off-leash reliability, and real-world challenges like public spaces or group settings.

  • Completed Adult Dog 1 and 2.

This class teaches polite greetings and leash walking skills to help your dog navigate city streets and meet people with confidence.

Loose Leash Walking & Polite Greetings

    • Ways to approach (and be approached) by people as well as skills to call your dog away when needed.

    • Loose leash walking in the city.

    • Games and leash walking exercises that you can add as additional tools in your leash walking tool belt.

    • How to teach your dog not to jump on others

  • Best for dogs who get overly excited or unsure when meeting people and need help with leash manners in busy environments.

This class is for dogs with leash reactivity/frustration in a safe, group setting.

Class size is small (up to 4 dogs) and will be taught by two certified trainers.

First class is for humans only.
